Hello, my name is Sam Stevens. I have been racing for 4 years and riding as long as I can remember. I am a moto convert and I just like riding my bike. This will be my first year on RPM/YETI and I’m stoked. I’m really looking forward to having coaches and I consider myself a technical/analytical rider. I think next season is going to be a good one.

In addition to racing bikes I still ride a lot of moto and I telemark ski in the winters, competing in everything from big mountain, to slopestyle to gates racing. I am also a mechanic at Ute City Cycles in the summer. I get to build Yeti’s and now I get to race them too.

Age: 17 in April

First bike: A small BMX bike that I used to call “The Black Bike.” I don’t know what it actually was.

Class: Jr. X

Goals for 2008 season: Continue to get faster and make it to World Champs.

Music: Just about everything; mainly Hip-Hop/Rap
