| This will be my third year with the RPM squad, and it's definitely my home away from home. I've been riding, racing, pitting, camping, digging, building and hanging with Keith and the boys for a long time, as well as battling current and former senior members out on the track. I manage much of the creative flow of information here on RPM, including jersey and logo design, as well as maintenance of the website. 2007 once again saw me taken out early with a fairly substantial injury, but regardless I'm looking forward to a KILLER 2008 season, filled with good times and good racing. Those that know me know that I LOVE to babble. Incessantly, and with conviction. To get an idea of the adventures I get into, keep an eagle eye here in the race journal, or on my page at www.YourMTB.com for my tales from the trails all over this country. Nicknames: Super Genius, Full Trucker, Shooter McEvan Born On Date: 4-22-1973 Tell me Party People, What's Your Zodiac Sign: On the cusp of Aries and Taurus Class: Expert 30-34 DH/4X/Dual/Dual Slalom Goals for the 2007 Season: To spend 3 out of every 5 days on vacation and finish my 3/4 sleeve tattoo. Oh yeah, I'll probably ride and race some bikes too. Number of Years Riding: Got my first MTB in '92-ish, but didn't get serious about off-road riding until circa '95. Started racing and riding DH at the end of Summer 2000 I think. First Bike: First bike ever was a banana-seat Sears "Captain America" bike, complete with "muffler" style chainguard. First mountain bike was a Trek 7000, super swank with an LX/DX parts spec and an AMP Research F-1 suspension fork... Tasty! Current Bikes: Yeti 575 for the XC, Yeti 4X for slalom/MX/BMX, Yeti 303 styled on the DH tip, Torelli Countache for freeroading, 2005 Yamaha YZ250F because I apparently haven't broken enough bones, and for the cruiser jammy I roll a '56 Schwinn Spitfire. Injuries/Broken Bones/Surgeries: Broken collarbone (x2 now!) both w/surgery to fix, broken radius near the wrist (twice), 5 fractured vertebrae, right foot, left femur, numerous twisted knees, a couple of AC (shoulder) separations, good-sized concusion with a side order of tweeked-ass fingers to go. What's your inspiration? Tasty vids of the MTB variety, free internet porn, my friends, being at the races, epic XC rides above treeline, killer tunes, pics from Spomes-TMX-McGuckin, and watching Colorado riders represent! What's in your CD/mp3 player right now? Music is a huge driving force in my life, whether it's rocking out to some heavy metal while riding the dirtbike or sitting around a campfire playing acoustic guitar with close friends, I'm always listening to something. Lately I've been listening to the Supersuckers, Throw Rag, MF Doom, Arctic Monkeys, Johnny Socko, Fu Manchu, Lovage, Q.O.T.S.A., Johnny Cash, At The Drive-In, Swollen Members, and whatever other old-school punk, funk, hip-hop, or metal gets the job done. Just take a look at left for a little sample of what's on my iPod right now!
