Pouring rain during Friday's practice session gave way to perfect race weather and some of the best track conditions we've seen on the ranch. The RPM Juniors slayed it in Dual Slalom and 4X, results after the jump.
Wyatt Freier won every elimination heat in Sunday's 4X battle to top the podium that afternoon in the Junior Men 12-14 category. RPM Chalk Creek Dual Slalom results:Trevor Trinkino rocked a solid First place finish, with Andy Proctor rounding out the Junior-X podium in 4th. Matt Branney (racing age 13) went 2nd in dual slalom in Cat 2 15-18, with Josh Conroy in 15th and new-to-the-sport Sean Giesler coming in at 24th. Wyatt Feier held his own in the Junior Men 12-14 category with a podium 4th place finish in the slalom on Saturday. For the senior team, Max Beard went 8th Cat 1 Men 19-29, Evan Chute 20th Cat 1 Men 30+, and Scott "The Doctor" Branney 16th in Cat 2/3 Men 30+. RPM Chalk Creek 4X results:The littlest big man on the hill, Wyatt Feier, won EVERY ELIMINATION ROUND in Junior Men 12-14 for 1st in 4X on Sunday! Matt Branney fought his way to 8th against the considerably older field, while Josh Conroy stayed smooth for 12th and Sean Giesler wound up 22nd in the Cat 2 Men 15-18. In Cat 1 Men 15-18 we saw Trevor Trinkinoin 10th and Andy Proctor just off the podium in the 5th spot. For the senior team, Max Beard went 7th Cat 1 Men 19-29, Evan Chute 12th Cat 1 Men 30+, and Scott Branney 14th in Cat 2/3 Men 30+. |
